JB Barbour It's been a few years since I flown this Lockheed P3. It enjoys speed, I see why I haven't flown it. It likes higher altitudes. When I was flying it at 7000 AGL it was very hard to maintain speeds at 240. I had to get up to thinner air and gas on it. Thats where this aircraft really shows its performance. Getting back down for landing, those large props just didn't want to go to idle. I had to shut down engines 2 and 3 to have some sort of approach speeds that was safe for the landing gear. Next time I will have to pick a longer runways for this ole girl.
